1987 Buick Turbo T For Sale - Current Pictures : 1987 Buick Turbo T. Car was purchased from an Arizona owner in September 2003. Never winter driven. I have approximately $20,000 in the car including purchase, importation, and some minor tune-up parts over the years. I used the car during the Summer of 2005 as a daily driver, including a 10 hour drive from Grande Prairie, AB to Saskatoon, SK during the May long weekend. The car has run great throughout my ownership with only a slight oil leak during that time due to a crack in the oil pressure gauge sending unit fitting, which I had corrected immediately. I still have second thoughts about selling it, but I have too many toys and not enough time.

1987 Buick Turbo T For Sale - Arizona Pictures : I bought this car sight unseen off the Cars for Sale forum on turbobuick.com back in September 2003. I never saw it in person until I went to pick it up in Montana, but the car was fairly well known in Arizona and several board members vouched for the condition of the car so it seemed like a safe enough bet. I did ask Jamie, the second owner and vendor of the car, to send me as many pictures of the car as possible. All of the photos he sent me back then are included in this gallery, along with some comments about each picture. The car had 60,150 miles on it when these pictures were taken. I am selling it after using it as a daily driver in the Summer of 2005 with a current total of 63,600 miles on it. So the car has approximately 3,500 miles on it over four years since these pictures were taken.

1987 Turbo T Arizona Dyno Video : This video was provided to me by the previous owner. Jamie had the car dynoed a couple of months before finances forced him to sell it to me in 2003. This would have been done on C16 leaded race gas, but the car will come fairly close to these numbers on 93 octane pump gas with the alky kit. The session actually didn't go too well as the convertor wasn't locked. The dyno operator estimated 450 RWP/580-600 RWTQ (which I call BS on) without the converter slippage. Nevertheless it still managed quite a respectable 380rwhp/460rwtq. Poor Jamie looks like he's scared he's gonna break it on the dyno. lol.

Other Toys - Why the Turbo T Must Go : The first question you have to ask yourself when buying a used car is why is the owner selling it. The last thing you want is someone else's headaches, and that's usually what you get with a 20 year old car. That's not the case with my Turbo Buick. It's only a headache in the sense that I simply have too many toys and not enough time now that my children are growing up and taking more of my time. So here are the other four reasons why the Turbo T is up for sale. Besides, it's a chance to show off a bit.
